East Ayrshire Community Planning Residents’ Surveys are undertaken at approximately three year intervals to:
- build information on the demographics of the East Ayrshire population;
- develop an increased understanding of local priorities and views of residents on public service provision/satisfaction; and
- inform performance measurement and reporting in respect of Community Planning and the associated Single Outcome Agreement.
The Survey questionnaire was developed by the East Ayrshire Community Planning Partnership, with each of the partners consulted with regard to the type of questions to be included and the wording of these questions. The question set has remained broadly consistent across the four surveys undertaken to date, allowing for comparison between the surveys.
Tenant Satisfaction Survey
During the period September to November 2017, 1,200 randomly selected tenants took part in the Tenant Satisfaction Survey. The survey questionnaire was developed by Council staff and members of the East Ayrshire Tenants and Residents Federation.
